Huh, a delay is a very bad thing - whatever a techie does on the background should never interfere with a user. And greylisting cannot be responsible for 100% of the emails being delayed, the concept has a learning process where this 30 minute or so delay gets reduced with time. Mail delay for an hour is plain incompetence!

A webmaster can decide to greylist all addresses to reduce spam. Any email sent can only we delivered after the first try. This ensures only emails sent from email servers are delivered.
