It's hard to understand what you mean by "one way". There was a point where Google stopped supporting Microsoft's proprietary protocols for mail (and calendar?) Not sure if Microsoft is yet to come with a fix, or whether even the same is related to your problem.
@George yes in Exchange which the device syncs to. The calender entries appear on the default Android calendar app one way...
