
They say it's still "alpha" software, so expect missing stuff, and instability. And they also say they're targeting it at developers (as opposed to for deployment), so that should give you an idea of where they plan to go, at least in the beginning. I could be missing something, but just having the bash shell on Windows does very little to me (in my mind so far). I need tools to manipulate files. I also hope it can help me do away with (partly) putty/shellguard for SSH sessions to remote servers.
