[Skunkworks] HTC Desire Android browsing - proxy authentication Issue

Hi Guys, Am trying to connect to the "market" using my HTC Desire Android. Need to connect via a wireless network that has a proxy with authentication. I have configured the wireless proxy already and can connect to the internet thru the browser on handset desktop but am not sure how to break the authentication issue when going directly to the "market" (pressing the market icon directly) . Also , is anyone able to browse using WAP APN on HTC Desire Android ? Many Thanks, Joram
