Personally I think the site design was quite ugly and attractive, didnt appeal to me and I felt from the beginning that it wasnt going to catch up. Mabbe its the format and the choice of color.
Google+ could also be headed for the door me thinks - same unattractive format which I find not so user friendly and eye holding like Facebook.
