How NAT would affect Administrative distance or vice versa and how you'd implement IP SLA without two routes with different AD.
Sounds like the kind of thing you'd find on a CCIE lab exam if at all its possible.

Distance wont work especially when NAT is happening on same router.

Hi Skunks,

I work with a service/link provider. Most of the customers use two links terminated to our NOC provided by two providers. Mostly Fibre and serial.
By default, we usually use fibre as default. We usually manual change the route if the main link has issue`s to the backup link i.e serial.
All our customers are on cisco 1721 or 1841 series router. Am looking for a solution where it will be automatic.
please assist.
