I just noticed the hotspot feature and trying to get it to work. The pc is connected via ethernet, I've got wireless and have selected the hotspot option but wireless not seen by other devices.
Has anyone had the hotspot feature work?
More interestingly, using a modem then using ubuntu to share the net?
Given the noise surrounding previous releases I only use LTS releases, so I jumped to 12.04 from 10.04, which had served me without a hitch since I installed it May 2010.
What impressed me was I could work online with wifi as it was installing.
No regrets to speak of!
