That link uses a really old version of CI, 1.5.4 while the current version is 2.0.1.
@Felix, I would argue that for a good developer, it doesn't really matter what framework you use, it is the skill with which you use it :-)
If you have the time, why don't you try both on the same project and see how it goes?
