Cellulant Kenya is looking for a highly motivated, self driven and energetic Engineers to fill in the roles in the SOMI (Security/Support, Operations, Maintenance and Infrastructure) Department. He/She must be initiative willing to work at odd and long hours and deliver within strict time-lines.
Role: Networks and Infrastructure
Responsibilities
Design and expand to scalable Networks.
Ensure Network security standards are adhered to in implementations and expansions.
Maintain Cellulant Networks.
Document and create new monitoring ways for Operation Hubs also improve current monitoring methods.
Administer Servers remotely.
Plan and design High Availability and Load balancing among servers.
Oversee and maintain smooth operations that meet tight SLA's.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Computer or related field.
Experience in building secure and scalable Enterprise networks (preferably with Cisco certification ie CCNA, CCNP, CCSP)
Good and strong skills in Linux servers administration.
Good Knowledge in Software development cycles preferably in Java and php.
Experience with relational databases preferably MYSQL.
Understanding of information security
Role: Systems and Networks Support (2)
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot server systems in case of issues or failures.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining system/applications for uptime.
Offer support to Cellulant clients.
Provide and prepare reports and incidents docs.
Plan, coordinate and organize the Support team.
Assist in documentation and System re-architecture and design.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Computer or related field.
Strong and confident in Linux environments.
Knowledge in Networks and Design.
Understanding of various networking equipment such as firewalls, routers and switches.
Understanding of Software development cycles preferably in Java and php.
Good analytical skills and apt in learning.
Good at reporting and documentation.
