Hey Simon, What firewall are you using? IPTABLES? if so did u try restart the service and what was the result? If restarting the service worked for you, you may need to run a cronjob to do this for you every few minutes or hours. On Sat, Apr 3, 2010 at 11:16 AM, Simon Mbuthia <simon.mbuthia@gmail.com>wrote:
Hi guys,
My PIX got otasted last week, so I set up a software firewall running CentOS 5. This morning I noticed that my downlink speeds were terrible low, although torrents were seeding at around 1Gbps avergage. Upon rebooting the Linux box, I had proper internet speeds again. What could be the problem and what should I do so I do not have to keep rebooting the Linux box everytime?
Thanks
Me.
