
@Stephen, You did not understand my rant at all:-) DP = Developer Preview CP = Consumer Preview RP = Release Preview Windows 8 is currently on RP. What I meant is, the move from CP to RP should have been an Upgrade, not a Reinstall. I did not tak about Windows Update. The link you sent is by a newbie, I suppose ... changing those settings is not such a long list of click this, that, that else.. It's as simple as three steps: With Computer icon on Desktop, rightclick it, choose properties, click Windows Update, click Change Settings and voila!
