Thanks Jared. My answers are as follows:1. It is highly probable ;-)2. Yes, I do - in my previous workplace and also in my current disposition.3. No, I have not done any InfoSec certifications.4. I have videos, the Q&A book and the 2013 manual (I'm not good at reading huge books though)5. Time can always be made, I believe, but 4 hours for study is a little too much. What are your thoughts?Me.On 22 October 2014 12:13, Jared Oyier <jaredkoyier@gmail.com> wrote:There are so many factors that will influence the kind of reply to give you.
1. Are you naturally sharp?
2. Do you have any experience in Info Sec?
3. Have you done CISA or any other related certifications?
4. Do you have all the materials; videos, exams samples, cism book?
5. Do you have at least 4hrs a day?
If your answer is yes for any of the three above then a month is more than enough

Subject: [Skunkworks] CISM recommended Study durationHello good people,I signed up for CISM and should be writing my exams this coming December. I have never had enough time to prepare well for the exam (i.e. I only started reading and am still at the very initial topics) and I now have two options:1. Dedicate time to study in the remaining one month or so (which I feel is too soon)2. Defer the exam to June next year (which I feel is too far in the future). My question to guys who've done this test in the past (and passed) is whether a month would be sufficient to study for CISM or not.Thanks!S.
