Hello intelligent bastards,
I' need some intelligent guidance in reviving my iphone 3gs. (and by mine i mean a friends phone which i just efed up. jana) . It had a problem with asking for password when tryin to call a number that is not on the phone book.
So who is the bastard in this case?
So I (thinkin that am freakin good at this) decided to restore the phone using itunes which ended up upgrading the iphone to iOS 5.1.1. Results DISASTER. • Phone was asking for activation and could not activate • removal of sim is not detected..phone keeps sayin searching.. & could not proceed from there. So what did i do?
I jail broke the phone.. with i0S 5.0.1 with redsnow which failed with the error.. ms60000 giving up.... tried with 4.1 still same error. So i search for solution n I am told to use *ifaith *to downgrade it. which I successfully do ...n phone downgrades to iSO 4.1. Now after being abit exited thinking am successful.. phone would not go past "slide to make emergency calls" with a recoverymode screen showing that cable to itunes thingy..
So I search solutions which said to jailbreak now. so I did and the process above which was refusing .. with error ms600000 now worked successfully. Problem- after completion phone goes back to where it started.. 'slide to emergency call"
Now my smartass has run out of ideas and am sick of google.. cn sm1 please come to the rescue...
Next time, use good language in your salutation before asking for help.
