Hey,
Google bought boutiques.com and there was lotsa hype about it but it turns out they just wanted to
look under the hood, duplicate the engine and add it into the Google Machine, On October 14th, they will
shut down boutiques.com after integrating all its features into Google proper!
Looking at their track record it seems they do this for most of their buys, with some exceptions like Youtube
