
The point being? GM and many others have been assembling vehicles on locally built bodies for ages. It makes perfect sense to go down that route. From what I can gather the running gear is sourced from third party manufacturers on a locally assembled chassis.
I am underwhelmed by the final product but perhaps the management team that has been cited below can make it successful.
For what its worth competing in the same market segment as rural Kenya's workhorse - Toyota Probox - is no easy task.
