I thought I told you not to flash it around especially when you are

I installed Ubuntu 9.04 "persistent" on a USB stick from
here<
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/usb-ubuntu-904-persistent-install-windows/>,
but the tutorial is now obsolete. Performance is a bit sluggish, but it's
worth it when I'm able to retrieve Windows data from a corrupted Windows
install. Thanks.

hahahaha! It wasn't yellow (wish it was!) - it was one of the black ones...
and those 'mbulale mbastards' are probably using it as a paperweight because
I had the security lock on it, which means they have to root it to use it.
And also HINDIOT chargers are non-standard and I doubt they will find one
in
"Kabane" which is 30 klicks away from Gaborone. Shenzi-types! nkt!

I have just been souved a dead iPhone (3GS) that the previous owner purports
to have died due to lack of charging -- apparently he
lost USB cable (and
decided to move on to the androids)
I am determined to try and revive it -- So my question is - has anyone ever
experienced such a situation ??
Does the iPhone just lose charge, die and completely lose its 0s and 1s
never to wake up again ?

I concur with the views pointed out. Took me about 10 minutes. Plus you get
full DNS control for their domains.
