You may need to downgrade connectify for that. Newer <free> versions of connectify does not allow sharing of 3G internet.

Pardon my deviation: If you are are in aposition to have the modem plugged into a PC running windows 7; have you considered simply creating a hotspot then sharing the internet via connectify? At least that's how I do it on my end.
