Christian, I am not implementing any solution,I'm just trying to understand a scenario such as the wikileaks one where the 'master' site was offline but the mirrors were online. So who or what decides when to direct traffic to a mirror,which mirror and how is this implemented? I have a feeling Wash has answered me but he was speaking latin. if you have a database backend export - rsync - import. and rsync static files (as long as you do not have absolute urls in your site)
