@Maxwell - I still have a few bits in IT. Additionally, while IT firms do need to communicate, most PR professionals have difficulty understanding what IT firms do, or what IT professionals want to know, and that's where I come in :-)
In addition to persuasion, there seems to have been another thread of a veiled threat. There's a team, he has a team, and he is a criminal. Probably meant to ensure you accord your fullest cooperation, otherwise the unknown may happen.
My takeaway from this story:1. Dennis, as someone who no longer makes a living from IT but from prose, I must say you are a really good writer.2.
