LOL! This is sad. This is the kind of stuff you pull on 1st April, too bad that's 4 months away!

Forget MySQL, the rabbit hole goes deeper and Alice might never come out of this one! Sun owns Java, Solaris, ... All these will now be under Oracle. LOL! A new year in-deed, the ground has in-deed shifted. Prophet Owuor should have predicted this one.

I guess the existing Open Source licenses for MySQL, Java, ... might protect them in the short-term however the long term is an interesting watch.
