Hey Peterson, Am no expert on this, my views: Do you have local access to the machine? Not sure if you can connect a monitor and see at what state the machine is failing.. Else use the serial port or integrated RJ-45 LAN on iLO MP card to see where the failure is.
From the manual: When there is a system warning, the LED is flashing yellow. When there is a system fault, the LED is flashing red.
So you have a warning, you need to find out what it is and sort it out. Best way is to connect locally to the machine. One last way that could assist is a hard power reset, i have seen this solve some problems. Tito. 2010/4/16 Peterson Warutere <pgwarutere@hotmail.com>
Hello Skunks,
I have the Cluster Server running on HP 9000 rp3440 Server Model. There was power failure and the nodes could not come up.
Pinging them failed, telnet and ssh failed. The System LED is blinking Orange and the LAN LED is Green.
I only connects Remotely as they have no terminal, connecting one failed.
I simply cannot access either of them.
Pls help.
