too expensive. cck licences, vendor nonsense, support issues etc, however if you get it to work the throughputs are definately better, waay better than vsat. I do think maybe have a look at ubiquiti, they have some products on the unlicenced spectrum you might be interested in. if money is not an issue, most isp&#39;s might be able to go through the process to apply for spectrum for you. or just work with someone like safaricom,airtel you that already has established relationships with cck coz i think that will be the most annoying part for you.<br>

I haven&#39;t, but I know Safaricom does. I was almost deploying, but the cost was a bit on the higher side, and the aspect of owning the equipment wasn&#39;t interesting, though they can distribute the cost to several months. I don&#39;t know if there is any other CSP doing (assumming CSP == Communications Service Provider).<div class="HOEnZb">

Has anyone ever deployed/administered the above mentioned as a connectivity solution specifically for remote areas as an option other than VSAT. If so, via which CSP and what was the experience? I.e Link Throughput, downtime occurences, uptime, stability etc.<br>
