[Skunkworks] Skype setup

Hi guys, has anyone in the list successfully setup a Skype webcam by extending the regular 1.5 meter webcam cable length, this is intended for a boardroom and I find any cable added to the standard affects the quality greatly. My setup calls for at least 6 meters. Thanks, George
