For those of you looking at embracing the future of LED lighting, here is a feature that pretty covers a few things you should know about LED lighting compared to conventional lighting http://www.economist.com/blogs/babbage/2013/04/lighting Meanwhile, as for those "stand by" LED lights and fluorescent lights sold in supermarkets, how fast do their batteries degrade, soince most don't give info on which type of batteries they use.
