@Nicholas, interestingly, I actually belong to the camp that that believes it would be better to hire three different developers for this position; one Android specialist (not Java, but Android), one iOS specialist and one PHP/MySQL/HTML/CSS.
Normally, I would also advocate for a specialist front end developer, but since from this advert, it seems as if the PHP work is for building an API which the iOS and Android apps will interact with, then a front end developer might not be needed.
And for equal measure, a sys admin who knows how to setup and secure a Linux server, because most developers I know, myself included, simply are not aware of the plethora of attack vectors a Linux server is susceptible to.
I have never been to India, or Silicon Valley, or Russia or any of the other developer hotspots, therefore, I caution myself and others that, simply because I am not a master of Android, iOS, PHP and Linux with over 10 years experience in all of them doesn't mean that there isn't one in Bangalore. This alone is my point!
