Off the top of my head, make a copy of the PST to a new filename, move it to a different location. Mount it on another Outlook, then run autoarchive on it, and specify that you want all items older than 1 day to be moved and deleted. You end up with an almost empty structure. You can wade through and delete any e-mails remaining in it, like the ones that arrived "today". You now remain with an empty folder structure, which you could shuttle away and rename TEMPLATE.pst :) There could be more elegant ways, known to M$ die-hards. But I must ask - what is it you are trying to achieve? Folder structures are sometimes associated with e-mail rules so if you are out to implement a situation where all staff handle mail the same way, you may also want to export the rules to the others. If memory serves me well, you could define server-side rules if you are in an MS Exchange environment. I lastly did that in Exchange 2003. I've not yet touched 2007/2010, but the FAQs are there online for you to read. And is it possible to make a remote connection to a computer outside my
local network using dameware?or any tool.
I have not heard of dameware, but TeamViewer <http://www.teamviewer.com> is my preferred tool for remote support. It is not even blocked by a firewall. The remote end runs it, gives you a session id and password, which you enter into the instance you are running and voila - you are sharing his desktop!
