According to the first paragraph, the law has been proposed. I think this is the point where we should come together and show the negatives of such a move.

Depending on how active we want to be, it could be as simple as a facebook group, an online petition or go shout 'haki yetu' outside CCK offices.

Either way, the talk needs to go to the guys coming up with the law. Its not enough to talk about it amongst ourselves.

CCK's move is the perfect example of a loser mentality. Instead of facing the emerging challenges head on, which requires more resources (brain power, money, excellent leadership) and is much more risky, they chose the easy way out. Easy for them.

 

I believe the internet space is one of the few markets where the provider must know they are competing against the world, not just the region. And I believe once they reach like 70% of what the 'big shots' offer, it wont even require CCK to make customers to host locally. It will be natural
