Points to some possibilities:

1. IMEI is soo random that no two numbers differ by only 2 digits (yet)
2. Ndung'u was gracious enough to try all XX permutations before registering a hit.
3. Locking the Modems on the basis of IMEI is crap.
4. ......maybe, the tool Ndungu is using is that cool!

I wonder which, but then what the craic, we could do with the unlocking site as part of the skunkworks mail signature, right?
