IMHO I think a company like Wananchi are the ones who have got it right. Once the fibre lands connectivity will not be the differentiating factor between ISPS or Telcos or both.(Much more like FM stations)...but content and value addition will be the key to get high ARPU,Market Share,Wallet Share and sustainable revenue. Wananchi Online's Business Vision to offer triple play solutions especially cable TV is wise move,because they are selling content,hence they can compete for the mass market. For young enterprenuers,who might not have enough capital...think of ICT solutions which add value by using the fibre optic advantage,rather than go for business concept which will force you to invest in some infrastructure........ Wireless is great but the speeds indicated are only theoretical. Like for wifi with link speed of 54mbps you get a throughput of 22.5 - 25mbps depending on hardware and the kind of connection. Wireless is only good in cases where cabling is poor or for fast deployments.

So giving quality of service si pretty hard not unless they build data only mobile networks which would be more expensive and not practical.
