Hi, You might need to re-terminate this cable. It might be working for data but not necessarily for the PoE which should be using the free pairs that data doesn't use. The cable is about 30 meters long (cat5e) but I don't get a connection on the lan side of the POE. If I use a shorter cable it work ok. Just to make sure the cable (30mtrs) works i can use it between a switch and my laptop. Question: Could the utp cable quality which is low so it has high resistance? How can I solve this issue? Could using a cat6 cable help?
