Hello Skunkworks,

I would like to find out if Value Added Tax is applied on locally developed software.

Reason I ask is because I've noted that 'imported' softwares e.g. quickbooks, kaspersky etc do not attract VAT.

If possible can we get someone from KRA or the media personalities to push this question to the relevant authorities for clarification.
