@Areba...that is a question that was posed to Google so many times over since &#39;05. Considering Google&#39;s aptness for using linux based systems, a lot of linux users petitioned for them to come up with a linux version gtalk but it never materialized. At least they made a chrome version for linux so heck I am fine with using Empathy IM as an alternative for gtalk for the now :)<div>
