The calculations are more or less accurate in theory, however, in practise, and assuming your wind speed is within the operational speeds for the device, multiply the power rating by a factor of 0.55, thats about as much power you can get at any given time. The indicated 100ah on the batteries is for a full discharge, given deep cycle batteries, you need to charge and discharge them to within 80 percent, so again work with 20ah for the batteries. Then other than your consumption in terms of number of units per month, youll need to calculate your peak power. Calculate how much current you draw when everything electrical is on at the same time, that way, you dont have nasty surprises when you try ironing when the phone is charging and the fridge on. This is my calculation, correct me if am wrong; my bill for last month was 180 units this means 180 Kwh, so this means 1Kw of power for 180 Hours on that month, so if I get the 600W version that comes with two 100AH batteries then; this means if the batts are fully charged I get 100 AH * 24 V = 2400 Wh (2.4 KWh), this means if my wind generator can fully charge the two batts for 100hours meaning 100/30 about 3.3333 hours a day in the month I do not need to pay anything to KPLC ... at least in Theory ... But again I need to factor in lots of things ... ..
