Actually, you dont need to go through all that hussle. The ZTE modem comes with Linux drivers inside. If you insert it for the first time, it starts in USB mode and you can go into it and install the drivers. If you cant manage to load it that way, I can send you the ip with the drivers.Once you install the drivers, you will even get an app similar to the one available on windows where you can even check the account balance. I have been using that for some time now and its amazingly nice.
