The tablet itself is heavily customized for kids, from the shape of the all round rubber grip to the pre-installed software. Although based on ICS, the UI is customized to what is called Monarch UI, think big colorful icons, excellent for little fingers.<br>
<br>One other feature I found really interesting is that you can set it up so that in the hands of a kid, they will not break/change anything, only when in &quot;Mom mode&quot; can one change important.<br><br>And it has a sorta dedicated curated app store with kids specific apps.<br>
