I know this is an off-list, but I can't help wonder more.
I don't know whether I'm seeing my own things or there are others with the same experience
When you send your electricity query to bill@kplc.co.ke. it gives out the amount you owe KPLC, though is not detailed as the snail mail.

If you send the query, say, on 14th of September, you'll get your bill status including the due date. The same is reflected when the snail mail arrives.

Now does that mean the snail mail bill we get is just an estimate? I jail to understand how a bill checked a week before remains the actual bill!
