@ Kennedy, I think it is true to say so. However, it all depends on how you make calls, something I'd call 'discipline in calling'. There are those of us who make a lot of calls whether on pre-paid or post-pay. If you want to know how much you spend on your calls, assuming you are on pre-paid, just make a simple expenditure of how much money you reload on your phone per day and the amount of charges a telco bills on post pay. You'll realize that the difference is slight, of course with the post-pay paying a higher bill due to taxes (16% VAT and 10% Excise Duty). As someone mentioned, the reason why many people whould rather remain on pre-paid, is because there are no hustles (registrations, Utility Bills, PIN, Copy of ID, Deposit etc) that one undergoes. My off topic query here is: Can Safaricom, Zain, Yu and Orange tell us how many of their consumers are on post-pay and how many are on pre-pay, instead of a blanket conclusion, *'we have xyz million subcribers on our network'* ?
