Hi, Ive got a Canon Legria HF r16 (camcorder) that has the following outputs. 1. HDMI out 2. Component out 3. AV out NB: Unfortunately the Camcorder has no Firewire output. I would like to use it to stream online preferably with ustream.com. However i'm having a challenge getting laptop that has HDMI input. Majority have HDMI output only. Component and AV out is more geared towards TV/ home theartre setups i.e. the end of teh cable has the red, white and yellow connectors. My objective is to use a more powerful external camcorder to record my event, hence the streaming website will use the external camcorder as it source and upload the live video link. Any advice will be appreciated. NB: Alternatively, where can i borrow/hire a camcorder with firewire capabilty for a day? Regards, Eric M. Any ideas.
