After reviewing a number of Drupal hosts I settled for hostgator.com. They provided the specs I wanted for a project on shared hosting for a reasonable price of about $100 / yr ( a cheaper package is available). If you haven't registered a domain yet, I'd recommend first buying your domain with a cheaper domain registration company. Some companies tend to overprice domain registration in their hosting packages.
Other close competitors to hostgator.com for Drupal hosting include
bluehost.com hotdrupal.com anhosting.com greengeeks.com hostmonster.com
Some homework is required to match the needs of your site to the hosting solution. Hope this provides some clues.
