Date : Sept 2009. Ultra narrow bandwidth was, before fiber arrived, a good thing. spammers, trolls, runners, internet idlers did not particularly like the kenyan internet as it was comparable to pushing an elephant through a needle. Then suddenly in july, everything changed. the elephant could fly and run in all directions. Hehe, keep the prototype ready, lets say filtering before traffic hits the server.... :-)
Is the landing of the fiber the windfall for sysadmins - to start minting money? I am perfecting my spam filtering server prototype :-)
