There is this particular one specific for IT stuff, its called GLPI<http://www.glpi-project.org/spip.php?lang=en>. Its pretty good and can be easily customized. Last time I checked, it could intergrated with a certain open source network monitoring tool to automatically update the GLPI database whenever assets connected to the network change.
