I plan on bringing a bunch of Win7 RC (and hopefully server 2008 R2) dvds for as many people as I possibly can. About the talk ---------------- This is not a 'sales' pitch. We will look at Win7 from a high level. Talk about some of the neat system level improvements on the OS (after all we're tech geeks :) ) and how they translate into better performance, memory use improvements etc and then also look at the more interesting user-facing features, things that will make your life easier. We'll also take a quick look at some of the developer-specific things, new windows APIs (basic overview) and also (if time allows) introduce windows server 2008 R2. Expect a fair number of demos. If people are interested, we can do a series of deep dive talks as follows: 1) Windows 7 for Developers 2) Windows 7 & Server 2008 R2 for IT Pros 3) Windows 7 end user productivity features We can do the series in the same week assuming the location will be available.
