Zimbra has Postfix as the MTA so Postfix is not a fully fledged mail server, you'd need a pop/imap server and more with it to have a complete server. Zimbra has clamav for AV and spamassassin for AS, so it gives you a much better level of protection. Using blacklist rules is also not an intelligent way of spam control, it does not rely on any heuristics but only does checks against blacklist giving you only the first level of protection which is never enough . What if the client does not want to spend a dime on the mailserver?
Does Zimbra manage spammails and blacklisting rules well ?
Postfix spamming rules seem to be deaf and keep allowing already blacklisted domains - forcing periodic deletion of SPAM email queues due to hardisk space.
