[Skunkworks] fiber cut detection

Hi Skunks, I just read an article about a new system for monitoring and detecting seacable-cuts, that some danish engineer have developed. Maybe it would be interesting for the local operators here to have a talk with these guys about this (hoping they are also reading skunkworks).
