
Nicholas Assuming you already have a joomla site customised for your client and that you don't have PHP/MySQL installed on your server and that you don't want to use IIS - Download XAMPP exe,install,this should install for you Apache,MySQL,PHP,Filezilla - Start the services for Apache,MySQL - Copy your Joomla site to htdocs(htdocs should be in the XAMPP folder,maybe C:\Xampp\htdocs) - On your browser,go to localhost/phpmyadmin and create your website DB,import your SQL, if its a fresh joomla install,then just create the DB. - Open your joomla website: localhost/yoursite 2009/10/29 muite nicholas <nmuite@googlemail.com>
Hi people, I my client wants to host his owm Joomla! website on his Server running on Windows server2003. Ive never had to set up a Joomla! site on windows platform before and im wondering if there is anyone out there who would offer me some guidance or even propose somewhere i could get tutorials or guides.
