I have setup mythtv and scanning for channels does not give any signal, trying with tvtime also gives an error
Reading configuration from /etc/tvtime/tvtime.xml
Reading configuration from /root/.tvtime/tvtime.xml
videoinput: Can't get tuner info: Invalid argument
videoinput: Can't get tuner info: Invalid argument
from
all the above output i can see that the problem the insatllation cannot
find the tuner info so i tried to rmmod tuner and rmmod bttv then
adding it afresh as modprobe card=bttv tuner=13 , i tried several
number for the tuner but still not working. Has anyone been able to
hack watching TV on linux and if yes, where am i going wrong. Or is
this TV card completely not compatible with linux. What TV card should
I use?
