I guess when you buy an electronic equipment (Computer, TVs Flash Disks etc), they should have some updated ports etc.<br><br>I think when IPV4 is phased out, we will not be caught off-guard as IPV6, is ushered into the world.<br>

Actually, all tech investments are becoming expensive. At my moment, I buy a 2tb external hdd for close to Kshs 20k only to be told, wait, thats USB2.0 about to be obsolete by USB3.0 - damn!!<br><br>./Ok3ch<div><div></div>

Yes, connecting through a Wi-Fi HDMI port - and they say this is the way to go - they explain that although most people are not bothered about the clutter of cables on the back of their TV sets, it doensn&#39;t mean that TV sets have to have this clutter or have to be against a wall (the seond part I have no idea what they are planning, maybe dual screens on both sides). They want every equipment to have this capability by 2012.<br>

CRT should not even be mentioned, it can&#39;t compare now to the latest LCD and OLED flat screens. The days when CRT had an edge over TFT are over.<br><br>Talking of Berlin, I am told Phillips have unveiled a wireless HDTV Transmitter, such that you do not need cables to connect your HDTV to your system or Blue-ray player. This is good news, now that Belkin have killed the FlyWire device they were working on.<br>
