I have read some blog entry by one, Moses Kemibaro, and it shows/proves that Orange 3G is the fastest in Kenya. Well, maybe at that time, but has anything changed since October 2011? I did use Orange 3G in Mombasa last year and yes, it was much faster than Safaricom.<br>

<br>Today, Safaricom have taken out a full page Ad touting their 3G as the &quot;fastest&quot;. If not just marketing gimmick, I&#39;d like to understand what Safaricom means with &quot;fastest&quot; when the statistics out there put Orange as the &quot;fastest&quot;.<br>

<br>Safaricom&#39;s &quot;fastest&quot; 3G modem (Huawei E1820) is stuck at KES 9,999 retail price for almost 2 years now. Kwani they don&#39;t know prices of electronic gadgets need to come down fast? Just the other day, they punguzad the price of Nokia N9 from 69,999 to 55,999. They should reduce the price of this modem, I demand.<br>

<br>Orange, OTOH, started with their modem at 7,000 and quickly moved it to 3,500 and I think now it&#39;s probably less.<br><br>And now that we have the wars of who is &quot;fastest&quot;, who is going to push them to spread these &quot;fastest&quot; speeds to cover the whole country, not just a few areas?<br>
