When purchasing the electricity token, one gets a slip that looks exactly like a postpaid bill, I would have to go have another look at it to ascertain if the fixed charge is still applicable. I suspect it is.
I actually think the prepaid metres will lead to alot of layoffs, e.g the metre reading/connection/disconnection/reconnection guys are probably living on borrowed time.
I doubt these benefits will be transferred to the consumer though. Our hopes lie in cheaper power from Ethiopia!

Additionally, if i am to argue logically, with prepaid, there is no elecman coming to check, so his fuel, his salary , his expenses which i would assume are added into my bill should be deducted. SHOULDNT THEY?
