I am just saying you should not code something just because you can. Even if you are coding to market yourself, at the bare minimum you should make an app that has a user base of more than 10. I think if he focused all his effort on improving something wrong with the ADOBE suite, I am sure the next CS6 or CS7 release of adobe would have his code, he would get recognition and he money all at the same time.
- here are some few ideas,
- photoshops midtone adjustment is off
- after effects does not have a good enough inverse kinematics setup
- after effects needs a keyframe helper because all it has is linear or easy ease
